The Art of Teaching Yoga
Join Kate Ellis and Catherine Annis for a weekend devoted to the art of teaching yoga. This weekend is designed specifically to help yoga teacher trainees develop their teaching skills and gain confidence in their teaching abilities. During our time together, we’ll cover:
∗ Body reading and anatomy
∗ Touch and adjustments
∗ Developing personal practice
There will be plenty of time to explore personal yoga practice and for questions you may have about any aspect of teaching, including questions about postures, the art of teaching, adjusting, class planning and organising and putting together courses and workshops.
Suitable for all teacher trainees and newly qualified teachers who have questions and would like to refine their teaching skills.
Gayles Retreat centre is set in ten acres of land adjacent to the Seven Sisters Country Park (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), The National Trust Crowlink Estate and Friston Forest. The surrounding countryside is extraordinarily beautiful, and there are excellent walking opportunities all around.
With its open fire, high ceiling and refreshing artworks, The Stables is a beautifully converted 1930s stable which provides a warm and practical area for eating, chatting and relaxing. The ground level has an open-plan kitchen and dining room with under-floor heating. Immediately outside there is a large, decked, seated eating area which is wonderful for informal meals and gatherings on warm sunny days.
