Peter started practicing yoga seriously in 1978 as a student of the Iyengar system, and qualified as an Iyengar teacher in 1986. He qualified as an Osteopath at the College of Osteopaths at Regents College London in 1994, and in 1995 he co-taught a two-year teacher training course with John Stirk and Sophy Hoare. From 1995-97, he taught anatomy and physiology at the Chiron centre for Body Centred Psychotherapy in Ealing, and in 2002 he taught a 2-year TT for the British Wheel of Yoga.
Over the last 15 years, Peter has focused on the scientific underpinning of the practice of yoga, both in the bio-mechanical sense and in the mind /body relationship.
He currently teaches functional anatomy on the London Yoga Teacher Training course and two other local courses. He also teaches the anatomy module at the Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto, and is regularly invited to teach throughout England Wales and Scotland and abroad.
