Take a peak at our photo gallery which gives an idea of what to expect during your time on our accredited yoga teacher training course.  We’ve based the course in Monument, London, because of its central location and fantastic transport links.

All in person training modules will take place at the Light Centre, Monument in the City of London.  The studios are well equipped and spacious with super friendly staff – the perfect venue for our yoga practice.

Deepen and expand your yoga practice

During our time together, we’ll focus on developing our teaching skills.  Expect to dive deep into your practice, to unpick the poses and your approach to yoga, so that we explore what we are doing, and why.  Not only will this training help you understand the anatomy of the practice, it will also promote your curiosity, challenge and inspire you in equal measure.  We’re planning to have some fun, to mix it up, and draw from many other movement influences, including approaches from somatics and Body Mind Centring, Feldenkrais, functional physiotherapy, as well as the more traditional elements of meditation and breathwork.

Develop your teaching skills

One of our key intentions is to help you develop your confidence as a teacher, so that you feel happy and relaxed standing in front of a room full of students and leading them into a thoughtful yoga practice.  With that in mind, you can expect lots of teaching practice, where we’ll learn about:

- The anatomy, and how it affects our experience and practice of poses -

- How to demonstrate clearly -

- Modifications – when, why and how to modify and adapt poses -

- The art of touch and adjustments -

- Ethics of yoga -

- Developing your own authentic teaching voice -

- Exploring group dynamics -

- Teaching groups and 1:1 classes -

- How to hold space and create atmosphere -
